Replacing the Wood Trim in a Concrete Patio and Walkway
The cedar 2×4 trim strips in this patio were rotted and decomposing after over 25 years. I was able to remove them with a hammer and pry bar.
New cedar 2×4’s were coated with sealer and installed.
Galvanized nails were used to attach the perimeter boards to the inner boards. Concrete screws attached the perimeter boards to the patio.
Polymeric sand locked the 2×4’s in the patio.
The walkway was done as well.

This is a similar project I did the same week.
